People Solutions - Senior Program Manager
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Ability to develop, plan and manage a variety of short-term and long-range projects
- Full project life cycle ownership: Successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
- Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports business objectives
- Proven success in fostering collaboration and providing leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Ability to develop, maintain and manage detailed project plans for each assigned project
- Ensures all target timelines, actions items and deliverables through an assigned project are successfully met and completed
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, potential issues, to leadership
- Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, marketing and communications, and business needs
- Deliver appropriate and effective executive-level communication
- Build relationships within Lockton to best-align subject matter experts with ideas
- Provides excellent service and partnership with internal customers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects
- Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs
- Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective
- Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities
- Must be detail oriented and have excellent time management skills to prioritize workloads and meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives
- Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
- Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
