Salary: $90,000 - $110,000

CreativeX is seeking a hungry yet humble People & Talent Acquisition Lead to join our People Team, to help us deliver exceptional service to our global team members. In a hybrid role spanning the whole of the team member life cycle, you will own our Talent Attraction and Acquisition activities, along with being a trusted People Partner to our managers and team members.
You will be based in New York, and be a key part of the global People Team reporting to the Global VP of People based in London.
What You’ll Do:
- Own and lead on Talent Acquisition activities on behalf of the business.
- Serve as a trusted people partner for team members globally, but with a specific focus on those based in the US (primarily New York and Portland, Oregon).
- Lead and/or support culture activities / people programs, ie. Diversity & Inclusion, Wellbeing, Talent Management, Career Ladders
- Support our goal to be a GPTW through engagement surveys, feedback, and helping our leaders and managers create action plans to continually improve our team members’ experience
- Interpret and apply policies and procedures and discern matters that should be escalated as appropriate.
- Actively participate in the creation and documentation of people process improvements with a focus on automation.
- Analyze metrics/KPIs and trends for reporting/adherence to recommend and implement continuous process improvements.
- Other projects as needed.
Skills & Knowledge You Should Possess:
- At least 4 years’ of People/HR partner experience, along with full life cycle Talent Acquisition Experience. Adaptable, with experience at building strong relationships with all levels of the organisation, including hiring and people managers and partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and operate with a bias for action
- A background of working a Tech scale up/start up environment
- Must possess strong organisational skills, be a strategic problem solver and a self-starter
- Outstanding listening skills, with a passion for putting people first
- Strong ability to build trust, along with demonstrated ability to drive and lead results in solving team member issues with sensitivity, diplomacy and discretion.
- Stellar communication skills, conflict management and resolution skills with experience in delivering sensitive messaging of all types to a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Practical understanding and experience across key HR functional areas, US employment law, processes, and practices, including both supporting both technical and non-technical functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of an ATS (Greenhouse, Workable etc) and ability to pull and analyse reports
- Proven ability to work with all levels of the organisation and across functional areas.
- Agile and able to adapt as projects and priorities change and able to remain composed and positive, despite setbacks
- Able to understand and appreciate different and opposing perspectives and to discover solutions and build consensus.
- Generous and open communication style
- SHRM qualification preferable
