Vasion is seeking a People Talent Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maximizing the hiring manager's recruiting experience as well as enhancing the overall candidate experience. This is a full time, hybrid position and provides a perfect opportunity for a highly motivated, self-starter to progress their career and take our recruitment efforts to new heights!
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results, and credibility.
- Guide hiring managers through the job requisition and posting process.
- Help hiring managers manage candidate salary expectations by guiding on market and full benefits packages, etc.
- Develop and post job descriptions on relevant job boards and social media platforms.
- Craft pre-employment application questions, assessments and other screening tools as necessary.
- Help managers build a pipeline of qualified, diverse candidates and maintain a network of potential candidates in anticipation of future job openings and demand.
- Continually keep current and help drive adoption of emerging best practices related to talent acquisition including diversity and early career hiring.
- Assist hiring managers by filtering resumes, screening qualified candidates for top talent, and provide additional sourcing needs for identified hard to fill roles.
- Source and screen potential candidates using a variety of tools and techniques, including social media, job boards and referrals.
- Monitor the market for best practices and processes to enhance the candidate experience.
- Ensure compliance with hiring policies, procedures, and legal requirements per geographical location.
- Collaborate with the People Operations team to develop and maintain recruitment metrics.
- Track and report recruiting metrics to identify issues and trends, keeping HR Business partners informed as they arise.
- Attend networking/recruiting events to promote the brand and generate interest in open positions.
- Participate in HR initiatives and all other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience required.
- 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
- Strong knowledge of staffing best practices and sourcing techniques.
- A knack for documenting processes and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
- Proficient with applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft & Google Applications.
- Strong organizational, time management, planning and problem solving skills.
- Experience filtering and screening candidate resumes.
- Experience in reporting recruiting metrics.
- Stellar communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
