Performance Analytics (Business Analytics Lead Analyst) - Work from Home

This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation and analytics to support the Workforce Management team and Service Operations. This role will create data flows in Alteryx, dashboards in Tableau, automating of existing reporting, and conduct adhoc business analysis as needed.

Business Analytics Lead Analyst role will also support reviewing data sources for data quality/consistency and creating/blending data sources required for automation, reporting, and analytics. Another key function of the role is to review current reporting and analytics processes for efficiency improvements, accuracy, and providing business value. This position has exposure to cross-functional teams and provides WFM data to drive incremental revenue and margin.

Responsibilities:

• Design, development, testing and deployment of Tableau Dashboards.
• Leverage advanced Tableau functionality (parameters, actions, tooltip modifications, API, etc.) to create analytical dashboards.
• Utilize a growing technology base (Alteryx, Tableau, Cloud) to develop scalable solutions that can easily integrate new properties and resorts.
• Working Knowledge of API using analytical tools such as SQL / Alteryx or related tools.
• Provide business requirements to WFM and Service Operations teams to further the program's data needs and data quality, driving to satisfy self-serve and dashboard driven reporting with data source transparency and quality.
• Create SOPs and process documentation for reporting and analytics created
• Plan, prioritize, and lead analytics projects to deliver revenue-generating insights or increase operational efficiencies within the WFM team.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise reporting systems, analytical tools, enterprise data warehouse and transactional systems.
• Collaborate with WFM and Service Operations teams to develop techniques to evaluate the quality of data. In some cases, this may include developing tactical approaches that allow the Data Analytics team to monitor quality of key data.
• Understand business requirements and identify opportunities to improve data quality enhance how data is used for decision support.
• Perform data mining techniques including basic data modeling, trend analysis, and root cause analysis using Alteryx.
• Using Alteryx to ensure data used in performing analyses is of sufficient quality to effectively support informed decision making and timely analysis.
• Conducts strategic data analysis identifies insights, implications and make strategic recommendations, develops data visualization that clearly communicate the analysis.
• Establish a strong collaborative relationship and be able to drive ad-hoc projects effectively.
• Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining and the presentation of the data to see beyond the numbers and under how our WFM and Service Operations business interact with our analytic outputs.
• Deliver concise communication detailing the progress and results of initiative underway.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-3 years in business analytics, data analysis, or business intelligence required.
• Tableau (or other visualization tool) / creating dashboards, SQL and Excel at Intermediate level.
• Ability to develop strong client and working relationships with a globally distributed team
• Assist with development and deployment of enterprise systems and tools.
• Detail-oriented, with focus on delivering accurate reporting and analysis.
• Strong analytical, data mining/manipulation, WFM modeling, and problem-solving skills.
• Keen ability to assimilate multiple data points into a succinct and meaningful message to be used across the enterprise.
• Good communication skills with a demonstrated customer-focused, service-first attitude.
• Self-driven, desire to continuously learn and challenge conventional wisdom as it relates to data and revenue analysis.
• Alteryx, report scheduling and automation, or other statistical software experience preferred.

Preferred:

• 5+ years progressive experience as a business operations analyst with forecasting and budgeting experience
• Experience development, data modeling and ETL knowledge
• Experience in modeling sequential data, statistical forecasting, and time series models
• Experience in multiple Workforce Management roles is a plus
• Process mapping, system mapping, user experience mapping, data analysis

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 70,400 - 117,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
