ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Performance Copywriter, you’ll be the Copy Coven’s (Copy Flock) main go-to for all things performance advertising, working closely with the Media Flock to create copy for digital ads at all stages of the marketing funnel. Are you shaking with excitement? Great! Join the team and craft spells in the form of goodr copy to help entice and excite our customers!
TL;DR you’ll write the words that break through the noise and get more eyes on the brand!Â
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create compelling written content for Performance Media, Awareness, and Evergreen ad copy  optimized for achieving specific performance goals, such as driving traffic, increasing conversions, and maximizing engagement
- Maintain brand and editorial consistency across all company communications
- Write, edit, and proofread across a wide variety of channels including websites, landing pages, emails, social media, and advertising campaigns
- Interpret creative direction from briefs into copy that converts
- Liaise with the goodr Media team on request and upcoming project needsÂ
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of communications and industry trends bringing new ideas to draw customer attention
- Use insight and analytics to understand current performance and future opportunities
- This role is in the Copy Team and will report directly to the Director of Copy
- Perform other related duties as assigned
ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATEÂ
- May or may not have a degree...we don’t care (bonus points for Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law)
- Loves everything above
- Asks a lot of questionsÂ
- 3+ yrs proven working experience in digital performance and advertising copywriting
- Experience with paid media ads
- Solid understanding of creative workflows
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Asana is a BIG plus
- Bonus points for experience in other aspects of copywriting such as SEO, sales, landing pages, and product naming
- Dependable with the willingness to take the initiative to work collaboratively and with a sense of urgency
- Loves the work more than a paycheckÂ
