Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) OpenPages development team is searching for a skilled Performance & Resilience Specialist. Would you like to get in on the ground floor of the exciting and fast-growing field of Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) and Watsonx.Gov? Would you like to work on the setting up a performance and resilience platform of the IBM OpenPages GRC product? Do you like to work with the latest and greatest SaaS cloud technologies fine tune application performance plan based on Cloud dashboards? In this role you’ll work alongside other product teams (UI Application Developers Quality Engineering DB developers DevOps) as well as with product management and our larger clients.

As a Performance Specialist at IBM your analytical and technical skills will directly impact the quality of the software we create. What you’ll do:

• Profiling and analyzing OpenPages application performance using jMeter and relevant tech stack
• Define test plan looking at performance dashboards in DB (Oracle and DB2) cloud tech (Prometheus Instana Segment and Amplitude)
• Implementing caching strategies and database optimizations for IBM Consulting Advantage
• Conducting load testing and stress analysis for ICA and its various assistants and assets
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on architecture decisions
• Developing and maintaining monitoring tools and dashboards for IBM consulting Advantage platform
• Come up with scaling strategies for various workloads running in the platform
• Innovative Database Developer who wants to work in an exciting and fast paced agile and scrum development environment
• Contribute directly to design implementation test and deployment of new features functions and integration points
• Work closely with the product management quality assurance design and operation teams
• Assist our clients with escalated Support issues
