Performance Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

As a performance engineer, you will be part of a team working towards Xpeng Motors' autonomous vehicle vision. Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Analyze system CPU and memory performance and bottlenecks
• Create tools to emulate vehicle conditions on bench
• Debug performance bottlenecks
• Design and implement test cases for stressing system 

Job Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of Software development experience
• Good knowledge of C++ and Python
• Proficient at CPU or memory profiling tools.
• Proficiency with Python, Shell, and Git

Bonus Points:

The following are nice to have but not required:

• Experience with Nvidia Xavier platforms
• Experience with TCP/IP , UDP and networking protocols.
• Experience with DDS/ROS
• Experience in Automotive industry
• Familiarity with Communications protocols (CAN, MQTT, etc.)
