Your Responsibilities
As a Performance Engineer for John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG)located in Urbandale, IA, you will ensure the quality and performance of Precision Agriculture products, solutions, and systems with a focus on tractor powered production steps.

• Create engineering verification procedures that define how to verify and quantify the performance of Precision Ag capabilities
• Execute tests to verify the Tech Stack's performance and functionality
• Create automated tests using state-of-the-art simulation frameworks and tools
• Collect engineering data necessary for conducting root cause analysis and correlating simulation environments

What Skills You Need

• Experience designing, developing, or testing embedded electronics within tractor platforms
• Ability to create, manage, and execute test plans to verify performance and functionality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated efficacy interfacing with engineers and/or developers.
• Strong analytical skills to break down, solve and convey complex issues to engineers in other disciplines

What Makes You Stand Out

• Knowledge of Deere Precision Ag products and machine operation
• Experience using CAN communication analysis tools
• Experience with one or more programming/scripting languages
• Experience working in an Agile development process
• Experience with Systems Engineering Principles

Education

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Science, or Technology related discipline
