Role Summary
 Steel Point Solutions is seeking a Performance Improvement Engineer to join our Navy team. The Performance Improvement Engineer will work closely with stakeholders to develop, deploy and execute problem solving and process improvement training that aligns with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate, review and forward to PSO leadership for approval, standard curriculums and all supporting material such as but not limited to instructions, instructor guides, playbooks, handbooks, slides, talking points, practical exercises, and instructional videos for process improvement training.
- Support training for defined levels of leadership and expertise under PSO lead.
- Generate, implement, analyze, and maintain a continuous problem solving and process improvement training and execution feedback mechanism.
- Identify existing trained and qualified Navy process improvement Subject Matter Experts (SME) within Navy organizations who can support readiness and performance improvement initiatives.
- Recommend engagement and involvement of existing Navy process improvement SMEs as needed to support necessary readiness and improvement initiatives to PSO.
- Recommend, develop and update NPSO daily and visual management methodology and display
 Required QualificationsÂ
- Secret Clearance Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, engineering, information technology, or organizational change with U.S Navy fleet experience (In lieu of degree, four (4) years of additional experience substitutes)
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, process improvement, strategic planning, driver based performance management practices and program design
- 3+ year of personnel management experience
Preferred Experience
- Master’s Degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, engineering, information technology, or organizational change with U.S Navy fleet experience (Master’s degree is equivalent to three (3) years of experience.)
- Prior Navy experience preferred
- Prior experience supporting the federal government preferred
Work Locations: Pentagon, Arlington, VA; Navy Yard, Washington, DC; Norfolk, VA, Suffolk, VA, Mechanicsburg, PA, Pensacola, FL, Jacksonville, FL, Pearl Harbor, HI, San Diego, CA, Pacific Northwest Naval Facilities and Commands

The salary range represents a general guideline; however, Steel Point Solutions considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

$135,000—$166,000 USD
