Performance driven omnichannel marketing is a critical driver of HoneyBook’s growth. We operate and expand upon large cross-channel campaigns using channels such as Paid Search (SEM), Paid Social, audio channels, embedded retargeting initiatives, and Digital Display (Video + Banners). Also, we are always looking for new experimental channels to acquire new members.Â
As the Performance Marketing Associate specializing in Paid Social you’ll support the continued growth of our awareness and user acquisition channels. You’ll help drive an integrated marketing approach with a focus on our Paid Social campaign strategy, gaining mentorship in channels that include Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest, and other social platforms. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to advertise on other channels such as Apple Search Ads and Review Site ads (ie. Capterra & G2). Within these channels, you will own end-to-end execution that will bring a clear and compelling vision of the product to potential members. You will play a key role in owning Paid Social campaigns, including managing budgets, creatives, and general strategy. In addition, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with other teams within the marketing org as well as our product, finance, analytics, and creative teams to build and implement strategic initiatives that drive value for both our members and our company.Â
We are open to hiring someone based remotely, but would prefer someone based in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York.
Here are a few of the things you will do:
- Drive day-to-day management of paid campaigns, with the direction of the Performance Marketing Manager, and adherence to platform best practices to drive increased effectiveness and performance. This includes responsibilities such as budget and performance pacing, audience targeting, campaign launches & optimizations, forecasting, and lending a hand in helping us build creatives
- Help develop testing strategies and plans that will result in key learnings to optimize, scale, or otherwise benefit core KPIs for the Paid Social campaigns and holistic paid strategyÂ
- Use data analysis and visualization tools to share insightful trends and actionable learnings with the broader team
- Work closely with the Paid Social Performance Marketing Manager to formulate actionable plans that will execute on high level strategic goals and efforts to drive forward paid advertising efforts in the account and across the marketing org
- Learn and utilize Paid Social platforms such as Meta’s Business Manager tool, TikTok’s Ad Manager, and others to further develop cross-channel social strategies
- Work alongside the creative design team to develop new messaging and creative concepts. You will iterate on high performing ads, developing new testing frameworks and present learnings - always driven by dataÂ
- Bring new ideas to our marketing strategy. You will challenge the status quo and constantly look for new tactics within existing channels to drive performance - as well as stay up to date with new digital media opportunities
- Run A/B tests and share out learnings both internally to the other paid teams, the broader marketing team, and to cross functional teams
- You’ll work closely with our partners at Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Apple, and other platforms to better optimize the account, with access to beta product opportunities and specialty workshopsÂ
Here is what is needed:
- A passion for social and performance-driven marketing
- 1-2 years of professional experience supporting Paid Social campaigns such as those on Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and TikTok
- Experience launching, managing, and optimizing managing paid search initiatives
- Data analysis skills and ability to synthesize data and learnings into actionable insights
- A keen eye for detail and an understanding as well as enthusiasm for creating creative video ads and statics ads
- Proficient with key campaign management tools. Experience running ads in Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snap, Apple Search Ads, Review Sites (ie. Capterra & G2), and other social media platforms are all a plus!
- Exceptional planning and organizational skills with minimal supervision
- A love for combining creative thinking and a strong analytical mindset. You love to solve problems and support your findings to improve our team.Â
- Strong Excel or Google Suite skills and are comfortable with giving presentations
- A desire to learn, and the capacity to learn quickly
- Strong communicator with effective collaboration skills. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
