The Performance Marketing Manager will plan, develop, analyze, and optimize campaigns that drive pipeline. With a specific focus on digital advertising, this person will support Bonterra's profitable growth within key market segments.
Reporting to the Performance Marketing Director, the Performance Marketing Manager will leverage their exceptional campaign management skills, a strong understanding of paid media platforms, and analytical mindset to acquire qualified leads, prioritize effectively, forecast channel performance, and set or adjust plans based on data-driven insights.
Responsibilities:
- Drive profitable traffic, leads and pipeline through performance marketing efforts across digital marketing channels, inclusive of (but not limited to) paid social, paid search, review sites, and programmatic display
- Maximize the efficiency & effectiveness of Bonterra's digital advertising by managing budget and marketing mix, aligning spend with stated company growth priorities
- Partner with our external digital agency for campaign planning and execution
- Coordinate with demand and segment marketing team members to ensure messaging consistency & effectiveness throughout the customer journey
- Leverage key platform integrations, intent tools, and other marketing technology to reach the right audiences with the right message at the right time (and at scale)
- Define and execute A/B tests that improve performance and generate better understanding of our target audiences
Experience/Skills Required:
- Background in delivering impactful performance marketing strategy, campaigns, and optimizations, either in an agency or client-side setting
- Genuine passion for performance marketing and the nonprofit software industry Excellent knowledge of ad platforms and networks including Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Strong experience with marketing platforms such as marketing automation (Marketo preferred), CRM (Salesforce preferred), and ABM (6sense preferred)
- Solid understanding of Audience Segmentation and how to translate audience insights into compelling media planning/buying and campaigns.
- A strong team player but capable of working autonomously and taking ownership.
- Flexible approach to working in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiasm to deliver an exceptional experience to stakeholders, encouraging and championing performance marketing innovation across the business.
