This role sits at the intersection of strategy, data, and execution, driving high-impact digital media performance across complex, omni-channel campaigns. You will be responsible for shaping and activating full-funnel media strategies across paid search, social, programmatic, and video channels. Working in a fast-paced, consultative environment, you will translate business objectives into measurable media outcomes that improve customer engagement and revenue performance. The role requires both hands-on media activation expertise and strong strategic thinking to optimize campaigns at scale. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including analytics, creative, and client stakeholders. This position also encourages the use of AI-enabled tools to enhance planning, optimization, and performance insights. It is ideal for a data-driven media professional who thrives in a collaborative, global, and innovation-focused environment.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of performance media strategies while ensuring alignment with business and client objectives:
- Develop and execute full-funnel digital media strategies across paid search, paid social, programmatic, display, video, and emerging platforms
- Translate business goals into actionable media plans, audience strategies, and performance frameworks
- Manage hands-on campaign activation, optimization, budget pacing, and scaling across major ad platforms
- Partner with vendors and media partners to negotiate placements and identify growth opportunities
- Lead performance analysis, reporting, and optimization initiatives to improve campaign outcomes
- Collaborate with analytics, creative, and strategy teams to ensure integrated and consistent execution
- Provide client-facing leadership, presenting insights, recommendations, and performance narratives
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement of media practices and tools
- 6–8 years of experience in digital media planning and buying, ideally in an omni-channel agency environment
- Strong hands-on expertise in paid search, paid social, programmatic, display, and video channels
- Proven experience managing multi-channel media budgets and performance optimization
- Familiarity with platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, DV360, The Trade Desk, and similar tools
- Strong understanding of measurement frameworks, attribution, and performance analytics
- Experience working with data and analytics teams on reporting, dashboards, and insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with client-facing experience
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
- Familiarity with AI-enabled marketing tools and curiosity to explore emerging technologies
- Eligibility to work in Canada, with preference for candidates based in Ontario or Québec
- Fluent English required; French is an asset for Québec-based candidates
- Competitive salary range: 80,000 – 110,000 CAD annually (based on experience and location)
