Position Description:

CGI is looking for a Performance Testing Engineer for a large, internal financial services platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, Agile team environment using SAFe framework. This resource must have good understanding of setting up and executing a performance test plan on a cloud native microservices based architecture. You will be responsible for implementing and supporting performance testing activities and strategies to ensure reliable and optimal application execution. The position includes working with stakeholders to identify and document non-functional requirements.

This career opportunity is open to all locations across the U.S., but the member must be available to work during east coast work hours.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Understand complex, large scale systems in cloud native microservice based environments • Provide insight and recommendations into performance testing methodologies and best practices • Design and implement solutions to evaluate and improve performance and scalability• Develop performance test plans and scripts based on deep understanding of domain, architecture and product tech stack• Understand non-functional requirements and service level agreements for all business functions• Strategize how performance testing will integrate into the program's sprint cadence• Develop models for sizing and scaling applications based on client requirements• Provide and present performance test results to stakeholders in a clear format highlighting the trouble areas and suggested solutions• Mentor scrum teams to identify and resolve performance issues farther left in the SDLC

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Strong Performance testing skills with 6+ years of experience.• Expert using Jmeter or other open source performance test tool.• Experience with Cloud and microservices based architectures• Good knowledge and an eagerness to learn the latest trends in the performance engineering world.• Excellent oral and written communication skills.• Location is flexible but must live in proximity to a CGI office.

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $102,000 - $140,000*
