The key responsibilities of the role include:

Providing security and privacy to clients by controlling access to the safe deposit vaults. Serves clients and provides administrative support by opening and closing accounts, researching and providing support with all inquiries. Acts as the initial point of contact for complex client or partner inquiries in regards to processing procedures. Perform Escheatment Master drill of Unclaimed Property, annual audit and box maintenance.

1. Greet clients; provide security and privacy by controlling access to the safe deposit vault; obtain proper identification and documentation to verify signature utilizing the signature retrieval system.
2. Open and close accounts, research and resolve clients and partners' inquiries and perform maintenance on accounts. Must have knowledge of new account procedures and compliance requirements that must be completed on a timely manner.
3. Acts as initial point of contact for complex client or partner inquiries in regards to processes and procedures. Responds by providing the requests information or by referring the inquiry to the appropriate partner for resolution.
4. Communicates with clients and partners regarding products and services.
5. Performs annual audit and Escheatment master drill and prepares and secures unclaimed property with a dual control partner.
6. Responds to client and partner inquiries by providing the requested information with supporting documents. Identifies potential problem situations, improvement opportunities and recommends changes to processes.
7. Keeps abreast of new and existing bank products and services and of law and regulations that affect issues and services.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

• Knowledge of Safe Deposit and/or Banking is preferred
• Organizational skills, problem solving, attention to detail, ability to multi task with a sense of urgency are preferred to ensure stated deadlines are met
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required in order to effectively communicate with clients and partners
• The ability to take initiative, apply time management tools, and have the flexibility to manage multiple tasks
• Must be able to transport boxes weighing in excess of 75 pounds
• This job also has the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
