Personal Lines Sales Advisor

Overview: Univest Insurance Inc. is a full service insurance agency with offices in Coopersburg, Intercourse and Lansdale, PA as well as North Beach, MD. We offer protection for autos, homes, rentals, motorcycles, recreational vehicles, businesses, etc. We are looking for aPersonal Lines Sales Advisorto join our growing team of insurance professionals. This position will become hybrid following a training period and will work in our Lansdale Insurance office.Responsibilities: Seek to educate prospects and clients on the value of a well-crafted insurance program. Promote a consultative approach to build credibility and establish relationships. Adhere to goals established in annual PL sales goals. Solicit new business through referrals from integration partners and other sources as well as cross-sell and win-back opportunities. Ascertain prospects' insurance needs, inspecting current insurance policies, and providing coverage solutions. Enter prospect and customer information into the proprietary agency management system and continue to document accounts as required. Underwrite accounts adhering to insurance carriers' guidelines. Obtain Scoring Motor Vehicle Reports and CLUE reports as appropriate. Upload or forward submissions to the carrier for issuance. Anticipate and address to customer service needs in a timely and professional manner. Review renewals, including re-marketing when warranted, evaluate policy coverage and make suggestions as appropriate, follow-up with companies and clients as needed. Process new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and documents through the agency management system and company web-based software. Receive and process premium payments complying with appropriate workflow requirements. Communicate and interact with clients by phone, in person, or in writing. Communicate, meet, and interact with company personnel as appropriate. Maintain and cultivate good customer and company relations. Adhere to workflow and departmental procedures. Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications: Current property and casualty license in Pennsylvania with a minimum of 3 years of sales experience Thorough knowledge of personal lines insurance coverage and products, familiarity with ISO Personal Lines Manual and specific coverage forms Knowledge of rate-making and proven ability to operate comparative rating software and navigate carrier sites to confirm pricing Demonstrated sales-focused aptitude with excellent communication, organization, problem solving, and PC skills Professional appearance, positive and professional attitude Click here for Benefit Information #Univest #LI-Hybrid #INDUF An Equal Opportunity Employer.
