What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Counseling, Rehabilitation, Personal Financial Management or related field is required (Master's degree is highly preferred).
- Must have a minimum of three years' experience in, or related to, career planning, employment services, personal financial management, direct advisement of students, curriculum design, and/or instructing.
- Ability to work independently and follow-through on assigned tasks.
- Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests, learning and motivation.
- Must be able to operate a personal computer, printer, etc., and have current knowledge in various office computer programs and software applications.
- Ability to evaluate, plan, and implement training systems for both in classroom and online instruction and delivery.
- Experience in education, career and personal financial management development strategies for diverse higher education populations is preferred.
- Experience in resume writing is preferred.

As part of the employment process, Human Resources Division may obtain a Criminal Record Check and/or an Investigative Consumer Report. For all positions requiring access to firearms or ammunition, the Federal Government is prohibited from employing individuals in these positions who have ever been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence, or a felony crime of domestic violence adjudged on or after 27 November 2002. Selectees for such positions must submit a completed DD Form 2760, Qualification to Possess Firearms or Ammunition, before a final job offer can be made.
Direct Deposit of total NET pay is mandatory as a condition of employment for all appointments to positions within MCCS.
