JOB SUMMARY
APTIM, a full-service multidiscipline environmental and engineering consulting firm, is currently seeking a goal-oriented individual with proven marketing skills to support our growing market in the remediation of PFAS-impacted constituents. The qualified candidate will be involved in a variety of activities including business/client development, serving as PFAS Subject Matter Expert (SME), and providing technical leadership and project/program execution oversight. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and detail oriented, with demonstrated experience in PFAS investigation. Office/Geographic location is flexible, including Telecommuter status if preferred.

The qualified candidate will be involved in a variety of activities including business/client development, serving as PFAS Subject Matter Expert (SME), and providing technical leadership and project/program execution oversight. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and detail oriented, with demonstrated experience in PFAS investigation. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Function as seller-doer, develops and maintains long-lasting and meaningful relationships with clients, as well as industry teaming partners.
- Understand regulatory PFAS trends and how to convert such trends into business opportunities.
- Utilize technical and work experience to develop business development strategies to meet client needs.
- Able to identify and implement innovative solutions that are consistent with project and regulatory objectives.
- Ability to understand and communicate risks to leadership and within project execution teams.
- Lead project teams in successfully delivering a quality product to the client.
- Presents findings, provides updates, and makes recommendations to clients, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts via verbal and written presentations, including representation of the company at conferences, workshops, and other professional forums.
REQUIREMENTS
The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal knowledge, skill, and/or ability requirements of this position:
- BS or MS degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years' of progressively more responsible industry experience, including 3 years of PFAS nature and extent investigation experience.
- Proven track record of client marketing and development on PFAS related projects.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, proposal and presentation)
- Experience in project development and management (scope, budget, schedule).
- Has in-depth functional/technical expertise and broad business knowledge related to PFAS.
- Self-starter with strong cognitive problem-solving abilities.
- Possess the ability to coordinate and work effectively in a team setting.
- Professional registration/certification/licensure as relevant to degree or discipline preferred
