PH-Prof II General Accounting

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• You will perform daily and monthly financial and accounting transactions with the general ledger system.
• You are expected to manage and execute monthly analysis and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, analyzes financial information, prepares reports, and verifies accuracy.
• Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information.
• Ensuring that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards.
• Aligning general ledger accounting practices to support budgeting and forecasting.
• Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct.
• Reconciling accounts with the general ledger.
• Gathering supporting documentation and performing recordkeeping.
• Keeping abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.
• You will assist with the automation and streamlining of internal and corporate reporting processes.
• You will be working under the Finance and Accounting business services group

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA or BS degree in accounting or related field is preferred
• CPA is preferred
• 2 to 3 years’ experience of processing/handling GL
• With prior work experience in BPO, PEZA, BOI (Board of Investment
• Ability to operate a PC efficiently with applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook etc. (Must have)
• Working knowledge of large Enterprise Resource
