Pharmacist and Supervising Pharmacist

Job Summary Under the direction of Park West Pharmacy management, the Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safe dispensing of medications to ensure the provision of quality and appropriate pharmacy services. The Pharmacist will be responsible for appropriate implementation/compliance with Pharmacy policies and procedures. The pharmacist must provide and promote education to patients, patient families and the community about pharmacy products and services. Pharmacist is expected to be professional, well-spoken, have excellent communication skills. Responsibilities and Duties Duties Verify, transcribe, and fill prescription medications -Educate patients, prescribers, and the community on pharmacy services -Communicate frequently with patients and other healthcare professionals about pharmacy related inquiries -Perform drug interventions in order to optimize patient medication regimen -Communicate benefits of topical compounding and chronic disease management services unique to Park West Pharmacy Requirements Recent Graduates are welcome Candidate must be driven, well-spoken, and prepared to learn -Candidate must possess a solid understanding of clinical pharmacology and pharmacotherapeutics -Pharm D.
