Pharmacist

We're a community retail pharmacy in Brooklyn, NY and Manhattan, NY. We're currently seeking a licensed Staff Pharmacist for a full-time position (who needs to know SOME Chinese [any dialect]). About The Opportunity: In this role, the Pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients in a timely and efficient manner. The pharmacist will be responsible for: 1) Verifying prescription medications prior to dispensing them from the pharmacy, including unit dose and compounding in an accurate and timely fashion 2) Consulting with patients, their physicians, and other healthcare professionals 3) Maintaining an adequate medication supply and informs supervisor of impending shortages 4) Assisting in any duties necessary to ensure the functionality of the business - Must be a New York State licensed pharmacist - Fluent in Chinese - Excellent communication and teamwork skills We work closely with the Chinese community and would prefer if applicants can speak some Chinese, you do not have to be fluent in it. To keep our staff and customers as safe as possible we measure each staff's temperature daily before working and provide the supplies necessary (gloves, masks, hand sanitizer). We have also installed barriers to protect against COVID-19. All applicants should be prepared to provide proof of vaccination as it is mandatory for employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
