Pharmacist-in-Charge

About the Position: AtIvira Health, we’re redefining patient care, and as aPharmacist-in-Charge, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering on that mission. You'll lead with compassion, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. In this leadership role, you will oversee and support your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, driving exceptional patient outcomes and enhancing overall pharmacy performance. Key Responsibilities: • Patient Care & Safety:Review and interpret medication orders, evaluate drug efficacy, monitor therapeutic goals, and assess for contraindications or potential interactions. • Customer Service Excellence:Provide expert healthcare counseling and address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism, fostering trust and loyalty. • Leadership & Supervision:Guide and mentor pharmacy support staff, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all regulations. • Operational Oversight:Manage daily pharmacy operations, including inventory control, loss prevention, and workflow optimization. • Compliance & Quality Assurance:Maintain strict adherence toHIPAAregulations, state and federal pharmacy laws, and Ivira’s quality standards. • Collaboration:Work alongside healthcare providers, using clinical insights and reference materials to deliver optimal patient care solutions. Qualifications: • Active Arizona Pharmacist License(in good standing) • Preferred:1+ year of experience in retail, clinical, or hospital pharmacy • Immunization Certificationfrom an accredited organization (e.g., APhA) • Clear DEA record(not on the Excluded Parties List) • No pending felony chargesor convictions involving controlled substances Preferred Skills & Attributes: • Exceptional leadership and communication skills • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and safety • Compassionate and patient-focused • Proactive problem-solver and team player • Innovative mindset, always seeking process improvements Why Join Ivira Health?
