Pharmacist - Independent Pharmacy

Full Job Description Burns Pharmacy is an independent neighborhood pharmacy located in Morrisville, PA. We have a pharmacist position opening that we would like to fill with someone who would be a good fit in our store. Responsibilities A Pharmacist is responsible for all aspects of pharmacy dispensing, including but not limited to: • Ensuring accurate and safe dispensing of medications • Verifying orders entered by pharmacy technician staff for accuracy, checking for completeness and accuracy of all new and refill prescriptions • Check for completeness of drug packaging and labeling • Managing workflow and follow through in a fast-paced environment • Works relatively independently, under general supervision and within the limits of state and federal regulations • Ensure proper security of the pharmacy • Provide weekend coverage as needed • Supervising and coordinating tasks among pharmacy staff • Ensure proper documentation practices are followed • Collaborate with pharmacists and staff to ensure quality health care is delivered to patients • Managing projects within the pharmacy, including but not limited to delivery management, inventory management, complex blister packaging Qualifications • Bachelors of Science or PharmD from an accredited College of Pharmacy • Licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania in good standing • Immunization certification • Strong organizational skills Job Type: Part-time Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour License/Certification: • Licensed Pharmacist (Required) Ability to Commute: • Morrisville, PA 19067 (Required) Work Location: In person
