Job description
Overview:
Responsible for building and maintenance of all pharmacy information and technology related processes. Responsible for the clinical and medication use policy dimensions of the Pharmacy Information system and the inpatient and ambulatory CPOE system. Trains pharmacy personnel/students in the operation of the Pharmacy Information System.
Qualifications:Age of Patients Served:
All Age Groups.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy -OR- Pharm D. degree (Doctor of Pharmacy)
Preferred Education:
Post-graduate residency training
Necessary Skills:
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and ability to distinguish drug products.
Computer skills and accuracy in calculations.
Required Licensure/Certifications:
Registered Pharmacist in the state of Florida
• OR-Eligible for Pharmacist license in the State of Florida within 90 days of the date of hire/transfer
Required Experience:
1-2 years - Practicing pharmacist.
Preferred Experience:
Demonstrated record of excellent customer service and team-building experience.
Preferred Licensure/Certifications:
Certification in an applicable Epic module may be required.
