Pharmacist - La Mesa, CA

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A pharmacy opportunity is available in La Mesa, CA, for a full-time Staff Pharmacist with a contract-to-hire arrangement. This role is ideal for candidates with mail order or retail pharmacy experience, particularly those comfortable working with diabetic medical supplies such as continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and insulin pumps in a non-traditional mail order setting. Responsibilities include: • Product verification of boxed diabetic supplies • Fulfillment and careful packaging of CGMs and insulin pumps (approximately 20 orders per day) • Collaborating closely with a team comprising other pharmacists, technicians, a clerk, and a driver • Learning and using a complex program system (Brightree), with full training and tech support provided Working Hours: • 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with potential to stay until all work is completed Required Qualifications: • Active California State Pharmacist License in good standing with no negative history • Previous experience in mail order or retail pharmacy preferred • Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to collaborate within a team environment Preferred Qualifications: • Pharmacists holding multiple state licenses will be considered for a permanent site manager position This role offers a unique chance to engage with a specialized area of pharmacy involving diabetes medical supplies.
