Pharmacist (Part-Time)

Advantage Healthcare Services has an immediate opening for a part-time Pharmacist in San Diego, CA. A strong candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and customer service as well as understand pharmacy workflow/priorities. In addition, a candidate should be: • A team player • Heavily organized • Exceptionally detail oriented • Willing to take charge and manage a program fully • Able to lead staff with confidence Responsibilities will include: • Verifying patient prescriptions • Preparing medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders • Dispensing medications by packaging and labeling pharmaceuticals • Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions • Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counseling patients on drug therapies • Complies with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state BOP, the DEA, and the FDA • Maintaining records for controlled substances • Other duties as necessary Must have California license in good standing and adhere to all federal/state laws and Digital RX experience Job Type: Part-time Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift Application Question(s): • Digital Rx Experience Education: • Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: • Pharmacy: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: • Registered Pharmacist License (Required) Ability to Relocate: • San Diego, CA 92101: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
