About The Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled pharmacometrician / data scientist with a strong background in pharmacometrics to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for optimizing drug use both in clinical situations and during drug development, as well as experience in data analysis and clinical pharmacology, preferably using R.

As a pharmacometrician / data scientist at our company, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pharmacometric models to support the optimization of drug therapies in clinical settings and decision making during the drug development process. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of our products and services.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• A Ph.D. or similar in pharmacometrics, data science, or a related field
• Experience with non-linear mixed effects modeling and similar techniques
• Competence in R, desire to learn more
• A strong interest in optimizing drug use in clinical settings
• A strong interest in optimizing decision making in the development of new drugs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Authorized to work in the United States

We also value:

• A track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at conferences
• Experience with machine learning / AI
• Experience with other data science or general-purpose languages: Python, Julia, C++ etc
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) or electronic data capture (EDC) systems
• Experience with R Shiny, RMarkdown, Quarto
