Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist-in-Charge

Yorktown Pharmacy is looking for anexperienced and energetic Pharmacy Managerto take the lead. Role Overview: • Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure full compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations • Guide and support the pharmacy team to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and a positive work environment • Review and fill prescriptions with precision and attention to detail • Oversee and participate in compounding (Non-Sterile Hazardous) preparations according to regulatory standards • Provide compassionate, high-level service to patients and help strengthen community relationships • Take the lead in training new hires and mentoring existing team members • Keep workflows running smoothly by delegating tasks and keeping communication clear • Encourage a team-first culture and boost staff morale through strong leadership • Manage challenges with composure and a proactive mindset • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure safety protocols are followed • Identify ways to expand patient services and grow the business What We're Looking For: • Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania in good standing (Required) • Certified to Administer Immunizations (Required) • At least 1 year of experience in retail or community pharmacy • Strong background in staff leadership and development • Excellent time management and delegation skills • Strong written and verbal communication abilities • Confidence using pharmacy software and managing prescription workflow • A commitment to patient-first care, accuracy, and continuous improvement Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 53 per week Benefits: • Health insurance • Paid time off • Visa sponsorship Education: • Bachelor's (Required) Experience: • pharmacist: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: • Licensed Pharmacist (Required) Ability to Commute: • Elkins Park, PA 19027 (Required) Work Location: In person
