Position:Philippines Commercial General Manager
Reporting to: Vice President and General Manager, Southeast Asia and Taiwan
What will you do?
- Set and deliver the Country business strategy, driving profitable growth and business optimization.
- Drive commercial strategy and innovation to improve revenue and profitability.
- Define and set up infrastructure and go-to-market (GTM) model for the Philippines's Commercial strategy.
- Increase customer value creation and market share gains by demonstrating the full Thermo Fisher value proposition.
- Drive overall growth and commercial execution across all Divisions, including optimization and performance of distributors.
- Deliver in-Country goal tree objectives and Annual Operating Plans (AOP), focusing on revenue growth, profitability, expense control, and customer satsifaction.
- Lead the strategic business plan, anticipating market shifts to seize new opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Manage government relations and strategic investments, partnering with Divisions regionally and globally.
- Partner with HR to establish an employment model positioning Thermo Fisher as an employer of choice.
- Establish and lead a high-performance organization and leadership team, nurturing talent across all functions.
- Develop and maintain networks and relationships with key customers, suppliers, industry forums, trade bodies, and government.
- Advocate for product quality, compliance, and customer solutions, acting as a brand ambassador.
- Contribute to the overall direction of the Philippines market as part of the SEATW leadership team.
- Champion high standards for health and safety, holding leaders accountable for addressing EH&S issues.
- Foster employee engagement by exemplifying Thermo Fisher Scientific leadership proficiencies and 4i Values.

Qualifications
- Proven track record in defining, planning, and crafting strategies and initiatives.
- Demonstrated commercial experience in business development and driving customer allegiance.
- Experience managing financial performance, capital, and budgets (P&L responsibilities, budget management).
- Significant people management experience, including talent attraction and development.
- Experience managing through downturns or responding to failed initiatives.
- Experience with large-scale reorganization, including scaling for growth and restructuring.
- Experience as a spokesperson or advocate representing the organization externally.
