Position Summary
We are looking for a contract Photographer to join our west coast photography team by taking the reins with shooting our Orange County (OCTA) outdoor advertising media. This person must be in the greater Orange County area, willing to travel 2-3 times a week to various locations around Orange County, ranging from Huntington Beach to Santa Ana. In this role you’ll spend at least 80% of your day outside in the fresh air snapping stunning photos on the street, so you must be willing to take on an action-packed work life and occasionally break a sweat. 20% of your day will be devoted to planning and preparation. The ideal candidate is meticulous with time management and can handle a super-fast work environment with quick turnaround times.
This contract opportunity requires photography services two times per week. It is ideal for a photographer that wants to work flexible hours and enjoys being outdoors doing what they love – taking photos!
The monthly compensation for this contract opportunity is $1,600. This is subject to change and may be amended in the future. Experience, education, skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered.

• An online photography portfolio demonstrating your camera-wielding prowess
  (Any applications submitted without a digital portfolio WILL NOT be considered)
• An eagerness to spend time exploring the streets of Orange County.
• Pro-active and self-motivated. This role requires an independent, quick learner.
• Strengths in interpersonal communication, organization, prioritization, multi-tasking, and meeting deadlines.

What You’ll Do:

• Photograph outdoor advertisements around Orange County. Primarily OCTA buses.
• Track OCTA bus ad campaigns and coordinate with West Coast photo team.
