Physical Design Methodology Engineer

• We are looking for a self-driven individual ready for the challenge of developing an industry standard RTL2GDS flow.
• Key Qualifications
  BS/MS EE with 5+ years relevant work experience
  • Strong expertise in the RTL2GDS flow development and design implementation on latest process technologies.
  • Good understanding of the RTL2GDS concepts related to synthesis, place & route, CTS, timing convergence, UPF based power methodology, ECO implementation, power analysis.
  • Experience with Synopsys physical design tools.
  • Well versed with timing constraints, STA and timing closure.
  • Expertise on high frequency clocking methodologies will be an added plus.
  • Good automation skills in TCL, Python.
  • Knowledge of Physical Design requirements for 10nm and below nodes
  • Experience with different floorplanning methodologies to reduce IR drop including power grid optimization
  • Analyze and debug technical issues and drive the development of workarounds or tool enhancements/options in order to reduce them
  • Proactively identify and act on new trends or developments in future technology nodes

U.S. Salary Range:

$164,000.00 - $225,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
