Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Primary liaison with vendor responsible for employee accessibility to Knight-Swift property. Perform initial trouble-shooting assessment as to why badge equipment or gates are not functioning accurately. Assist Security Operations and Facilities (SOC, Investigators, New Construction and Corporate Real-estate) as needed to accomplish mission. Work with, Cameras, NVR, alarm monitoring, and managing the physical security service at the terminals (Including assisting with Contract Security Post orders). Work with various Knight-Swift business units and execute security for facility projects and special events.
- Provide daily support for department email in box and phone line.
- Provide after hours (nights and weekends) troubleshooting assistance as needed.
- Provide basic data entry and administration support as needed.
- Track all invoices to the department and upload into AP management systems. Work with vendors and AP on any missing invoices to process in a timely manner.
- Oversee and manage the nation-wide badging function, ensuring consistency with process and record retention.
- Creation of access levels, segments, and other access management system needs.
- Provide necessary training regarding proper badging operations and other system work-steps.
- Provide support to on-boarding programs.
- As directed, research security footage for Knight-Swift Transportation terminals.
- Complete monthly quality assurance reports and audits of badging operations and generate usage and system reports as needed.
- Develop or update metrics to meet business needs.
- Create or provide input to department training and operational manuals (digital manual, job aids) and cascade to badging operators.
- Develop or update requirements, procedures and/or policies to meet changing business or risk conditions.
- Create or provide input toward emergency preparedness programs and training.
- Refine and update technical and business skills through work assignments and advanced technical and business training.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.
- May perform additional duties as assigned by Leadership.
Qualifications: What you need to bring
- 1+ years' Security experience.
- Experience with physical security issues and access control systems preferred.
- Previous experience with OnGuard/Lenel and Milestone systems preferred.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service focus.
- Must possess strong diagnostic capabilities.
- Must be able to effectively interact and communicate with a diverse team of people, and with all levels of management.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with rapidly changing work priorities and peak periods.
- Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Tools and Windows.
