Job Summary:

Reports to the Director, Global Physical Security to protect the confidentiality and availability software, systems and information owned, controlled, used and managed by the company. Responsible for coordinating with all global physical security administrators. The position researches, recommends and implements changes to procedures and systems to enhance physical security. Additionally, the position is responsible for developing physical security systems, enhancements, and support processes that meet PCI and regulatory security requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Protects the confidentiality and availability of physical security software, systems and information owned, controlled, used and managed by the company.
  • Researches, recommends and implements changes to procedures and systems to enhance physical systems security.
  • Develops physical security systems, enhancements, and support processes that meet external and internal customer requirements and security policy as well as PCI and regulatory security requirements while effectively interacting with existing systems and support processes.
  • Demonstrates mastery in the realm of physical security to internal and external customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job:

  • Associate's degree in Security Management or related field, or equivalent experience. Supervisory or leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in physical security, including 3 years managing physical security operations functions.
  • Protects the confidentiality and availability of physical security software, systems and information owned, controlled, used and managed by the company.
  • Configures and validates secured environments. Monitors, evaluates and maintains secured systems and environments through the use of physical security tools, processes, and procedures.
  • Reviews, documents, and takes action to ensure that all electronic, computer and development environments meet physical security policy as well as PCI and regulatory security requirements.
  • Reviews project plans to ensure that potential changes also meet physical security policy as well as PCI and regulatory security requirements. Summarizes and reports findings and recommendations to management.
  • Participates in physical security audits to proactively minimize and eliminate physical security vulnerabilities.
  • Responds to physical security incidents and leads internal physical security investigations.
  • Identifies, defines, and documents business risks, problems and opportunities relative to physical security best practices as well as PCI and regulatory security requirements.
  • Locates and documents appropriate sources of information for analysis
  • Performs physical security reviews and quality assurance testing. Manages intrusion detection and prevention solutions. Including distributing security alerts to responsible technology and business owners as well as responding to security alerts.
  • Participates in detailed physical security evaluations associated with designing and installing owned and third party software, systems, components, and hardware.
  • Manages physical security participation in PCI Assessments performed by third party qualified security assessors.
  • Demonstrates leadership and mastery in the realm of physical security to internal and external customers.
  • Assists in the development of security awareness and training programs.
  • Serves as an expert physical security consultant to projects and programs. Serves as Physical Security Incident Response Coordinator
  • Reports all breaches of physical security without exception.
  • Provides accurate, truthful, and complete information to others based on their need to know. Benchmarks the ACI Physical Security program against industry standards of best practice, as well as PCI and regulatory security requirements. And regularly monitors company position with these standards and security requirements as well as implement actions to reduce any gaps.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and initiate change throughout the global organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with technical experts to develop mutually agreeable standards and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle highest level confidential information and to discretely maintain extremely confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrated mastery in project management skills with the ability to manage several diverse issues and operate within tight time frames.
  • Mastery level Physical Security expertise in all disciplines of a global physical security programs and use of security tools.
  • Proficient PC skills with mastery knowledge of word processing, presentation, emails, spreadsheets and other business software applications.
  • Knowledge of ISO/27002, PCI, GLBA, and SOX security standards and frameworks.
  • Securing facilities and assets
  • Performing security vulnerability scans, pen tests and application security testing.
  • Configuring Intrusion Devices, security event logging and alerting systems
  • Managing Physical Security Solutions
  • Implementing Physical Security Frameworks, including PCI, SOX, and ISO17799/ISO 27002.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Managing Identity and Access management solutions
  • Managing incident response and recovery processes
  • Developing and managing vulnerability management processes
  • Reviewing contracts for security measures and developing RFP security language
  • Performing physical security risk assessments

Work Environment:

  • Standard work environment
  • Majority of time spent on PC (Phys. Req.)
  • Travel required, may be domestic or international
