Physical Security - Project Design Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE
Pelotonās Physical Security - Project Design Lead (PDL) will coordinate with key partners to plan and implement security standards, policies and procedures. . This person will plan with key partners to implement security strategies to safeguard company employees, product and property, and will oversee and maintain technological readiness for global security operations including implementation and maintenance of security systems. The PDL supports and oversees the planning, installation and ongoing operations of all physical security systems and procedures such as intrusion, cameras and physical controls. A successful Project Design Lead will partner closely with IT, design and operations teams to provide partnership in creating a secure environment. This person will inspire change, build trust and drive an enhanced culture of safety and security by leveraging innovation and lean principles.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Lead and work collaboratively on the development, review, and revision of security preparedness and response programs.Ā
- Oversee physical security-related projects from initiation to run state, using designs, asset plans, and other tools to create, track and communicate project progress.
- Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with all applicable Peloton LP & Security standards and policies. Where gaps remain, this team member will be responsible for developing processes and procedures while partnering with key business leaders as well as implementing existing standards in new locations.
- Leverage loss prevention through environmental design concepts.
- Building partnerships and working with key partners to understand security and theft trends and apply physical controls and resources to the appropriate areas.
- This individual must be a subject matter expert in the areas of intrusion control, cameras, and standard security assets.
- 30% travel to sites to allow for an understanding of unique physical attributes and work with key onsite partners.
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- Bachelorās degree or equivalent in experienceĀ
- Minimum 4+ years experience in Physical Security and/or Security DesignĀ
- 4+ years of growing responsibilities in LP & Security programs in corporate, retail, distribution, or service operations
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability
- Ability to adapt and thrive well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort in collaborating with executives and senior leaders
- 2+ years of project management experience
- Project management certification preferredĀ
- Experience with design software preferred
- Genetec certification preferred or desire to receive certification
Base Salary: $117,700.00Ā to $152,900.00
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
