Job Description

This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA's family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.

This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting.

The anticipated term of this engagement will be 22 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.

CW-Project and Program Management

The Continuous Improvement Specialist assists the operations of improvement projects from initial research and assessment stages through the transition and implementation phases. Working under close supervision, this job supports functional teams across the organization to identify and execute improvement strategies that best enhance operations. This job also assists in calculating metrics to measure the impact of process enhancements after they are implemented by the organization.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assists with conducting process improvement and continuous improvement analyses to identify potential upgrades that would be ideal for business unit goals.
  • Collects data to support calculating metrics that demonstrate the impact implemented changes have had on the organization.
  • Helps monitor and test the effective business continuity planning program for the organization.
  • Implements simple process enhancements to improve operating efficiencies and cost effectiveness.
  • Conducts risk analysis and modelling to assess probability of specific risks occurring and evaluates the potential value or impact of occurrence with guidance from team members.
  • Preparing reports for upper management regarding status of project.
  • Works with functional teams across the organization to discuss and determine needs for business improvements and to strategize possible business solutions.
  • Collects data for business diagnostics that identify, quantify and prioritize value creation projects in congruence with team feedback and input.
  • Assists the development of designing processes and procedures that manage and mitigate risks to acceptable levels.
  • Accumulates feedback from the organization to ensure that the transition to new programs and implemented solutions is smooth and effective.
  • Participates in continually defining quality issues and determining approaches and methodology for addressing these issues.

SECURITY PROJECT MANAGER

Job Summary

The Security Project Manager will work closely with our client-dedicated Project Management account team. This position will be responsible for supporting a wide variety of activities to ensure excellence for the account's corporate security projects and initiatives. Reporting to the Account Corporate Security Project Manager, the Security Project Manager is a key member of a comprehensive corporate real estate team working on a managed portfolio of commercial spaces.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports the security design planning processes and execution for key security equipment implementation projects
  • Lead communication with the account's security integrator, partnering closely with installation teams ensuring successful installations of security equipment
  • Supports the account with multiple other projects in the portfolio's pipeline
  • Attends and contributes to all project conference calls
  • Lead the security integration efforts as determined
  • Complete weekly status reports on project status for Project Teams, playing a key role to ensure project timelines and milestones are tracked and achieved
  • Involved in preparing budgets, schedules and project scope documents
  • Ensure site safety compliance with client's requirements during construction activities
  • Keeps project data current, reviews, and provides recommendations for changes to budget scope and schedule, including vendor contract management

Position Requirements: Skills & Experiences

  • Corporate security experience in planning and execution (5+ years preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, highly organized
  • Committed to customer service and relationship management skills to efficiently respond to inquiries and resolve conflicts or problems that might arise
  • Innovative and creative approach to problem solving and proactively mitigate risk
  • Accurate, detailed-oriented and must be able to manage multiple projects, tasks, and team requests within deadlines and schedules
  • Must be able to work independently, develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, manage consulting resources, and keep team members and stakeholders informed of progress or challenges
  • Exercise judgment to understand when to engage consulting resources, key stakeholders, or additional direction or support
  • Demonstrated ability to develop successful working relationships with emphasis on collaboration in an integrated project team environment

Base Pay Range: $64.29/hr. - $69.29/hr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
