Overview

We are looking for an experienced Physical Security Systems Engineer for a leading entertainment company.

This role will be responsible for the system administration of physical security systems including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, etc. covering all programming and troubleshooting. The main responsibility will be to bring all security devices online for our Client’s new builds across UCAN.

This is a full time position with a hybrid work schedule. The Physical Security Systems Engineer will work a hybrid schedule at our client’s office in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

- Program and configure existing systems and new installations for site expansions across UCAN
- Ensure uptime optimization for all devices in UCAN
- Provide maintenance to include troubleshooting, root cause analysis, system backups, firmware updates, log checks, etc.
- Create technical documentation, workflows, and training guides and lead end user training.
- Respond to inquiries and answer technical client questions in a timely and professional manner
- Provide expert level consultation and technical services on all aspects of the security systems

Qualifications

- Expert understanding of Lenel 
- 3+ years of professional experience programming physical security systems for enterprise wide deployments
- Ability to manage the programing of numerous concurrent large scale new builds with critical FDOBs
- Technical degree and/or relevant industry/software certifications (ex. CISSP, PSP, etc.) 
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting IP cameras, access control panels, door hardware, and other relevant equipment
- Experience overseeing the maintenance of multiple security systems
- Experience with integrating security systems across various corporate platforms ex. facility codes / badge formats / card types / various video technologies / visitor management systems
- Understanding and familiarity of network architecture and information security concepts with ability to collaborate with cross-functional peers ex. WAN vs LAN, static IPs vs DHCP, MAC addresses, VPNs, firewalls, AD / domains, etc.
- Willingness to run lean with a DIY mentality, take educated risks and think out of the boxSolid personal communication and diplomacy skills.
- Strong relationships with leading security technology manufacturers, distributors, and installers a plus
- Entertainment / tech industry experience a plus
- Lenel certification is a plus
