Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine

About Us: Emergency Care of Atlanta, Inc. provides care at Emory Saint Joseph Hospital. We are an independent democratic group seeking APPs with experience in high acuity Emergency Departments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage high acuity internal medicine patients
• Efficiently diagnose and treat lower acuity patients
• Work closely with supervising physician and other PAs and NPs
• Participate/ provide input in group decisions

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years Emergency Department experience. NOT Urgent Care.
• GA license preferred
• Advanced Practice Provider Employment Package

Full Time 150 hours/month
$67.50 - $70.00/hr
$121,500 - $126,000/year
*Starting salary based on years ED experience

Additional Income: $8,850/year
Health Insurance - $6,600 ($550/month)
Licensing Fees - $750/year
CME Reimbursement- $1,500/year

Retirement Package
SEP Retirement funded quarterly after 1 year employment
Year 2 - $6,075 (5% of gross)
Year 3 - $12,600 (10% of gross)
Year 4+ - $18,900 (15% of gross)
*Based on gross earnings, including any year-end bonus

Schedule
15 shifts – 150 hrs/month
10 Hour Shifts – Day, evening, nights and weekends
Night differential - $17.50/hr

PTO - 180 hrs/year accrued at 15 hrs/month

Holidays Worked:
One Major (Christmas or Thanksgiving)
Two Minor (New Year’s, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day)
