Location: Langley, VA

Pay: $64.00 per hour + Health and Welfare Stipend

Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday | Shifts between7:30am - 4:30pm

U.S. Got People (USGP) is currently seeking a qualified Physician Assistant to provide full-time care at the Family Medicine Clinic in Langley, Virginia. Education:

  • Graduate from a program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) Certifications:
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association
  • Must possess or obtain within required timeframes:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 3 months of start
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 3 months of start
  • Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) within 6 months of start Experience:
  • At least one year of experience within the past two years as a practicing Physician Assistant

Licensure:

  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in any U.S. state or territory

Primary Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide comprehensive primary and specialty medical care within scope of training and facility privileges
  • Perform screenings, physical exams, immunizations, and manage both acute and chronic conditions
  • Diagnose, treat, and counsel patients across all organ systems
  • Recognize emergency conditions and appropriately triage or refer complex cases
  • Participate in and lead staff training, in-service education, and clinical lectures
  • Encourage health promotion and preventive care through patient education and annual wellness visits
  • Prescribe medications and immunizations in accordance with established protocols
  • Build collaborative relationships with physicians, nurses, and support staff to enhance care delivery
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and attend team meetings for quality improvement
