Physician Assistant (Full-Time or Part-Time) for Thriving Internal Medical Practice in Atlanta - Flexible Schedule! No Call or Weekends!

Well-established Internal Medicine practice in Brookhaven seeks an experienced Physician Assistant who is committed to providing compassionate and quality patient-centered care for our patients. The PA for this role must have excellent communication and people skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Our population typically includes young professionals who are proactive and focused on their health and well-being.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Reviewing medical histories to understand patients’ present health concerns
• Performing routine exams and/or ordering comprehensive tests and assessments
• Reviewing the results of lab work and diagnostic tests under physician supervision
• Diagnosing illnesses and assist in providing treatment and care
• Ordering prescriptions and medications
• Developing and managing treatment and wellness plans
• Advising patients on preventative care and helping develop optimal health and habits

Requires:

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• State licensure as a Physician Assistant
• Previous experience in Internal Medicine or a related specialty
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems – EPIC experience a plus!
