Physician Assistant - General Surgery

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage postoperative care, including performing rounds and providing ongoing assessment and management of surgical patients.
• Conduct patient histories, physical examinations, and order appropriate diagnostic tests.
• Provide inpatient care in both surgical and surgery center settings.
• If in an operative role, assist in all procedures, including advanced robotics.

Qualifications:

• New York State licensed PA
• DEA Eligible.
• Strong surgical and inpatient/acute care experience.
• For operative positions, 1-2 years of first assist experience is required; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply for our resident positions.
