Physician Assistant Opportunity

Physician Assistants Needed – Hampton Roads Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, in Newport News, Va., is currently searching for a PA to join our team. 

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat patients in a clinical setting, surgery assist, office procedures and hospital rounds.
• Expect to be busy and multitask for multiple locations and hospitals.
• Strong, surgical assist background required, preferably ortho related.
• Utilize expertise to determine the most appropriate treatment options.
• Document patient visits via computerized charting using our proprietary EMR.
• Serve as a single point of contact for patients throughout the visit.
• Must be able to be credentialed by associated hospitals for surgery.

• Current Physician Assistant license for Virginia.
• Appropriate certification
• Experienced surgical PA strongly preferred but will consider new grads with exceptional orthopedic training
