Physician - Hospice & Palliative Medicine - Memorial Regional Medical Center

Palliative Medicine Richmond Market department is seeking a Palliative Medicine physician to support Memorial Regional Medical Center (MRMC) . Our comprehensive, expert team provides specialty Palliative consultations at 5 hospitals in the Central Virginia region. MRMC is a 225 bed hospital in Mechanicsville, VA.

Position Highlights:
-Lead an established inpatient consultative service focusing on symptom management and complex medical decision making.
-Typical hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 5 PM plus call ~1 week every 6 weeks
-Practice with the support of five established inpatient program with a supportive, collaborative culture that have earned Joint Commission Certification since 2014.

Requirements:

--MD or DO Degree
--Board Certification in Palliative Medicine and Hospice
--State of VA medical license
--Demonstrated ability in building referrals for Palliative Medicine
