The Bon Secours Mercy Health Virginia Breast Center in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a full time Breast Surgeon to grow our established practice and expand services to patients on the Southside of Richmond. This role also includes Associate Medical Director responsibilities and will collaborate with the Oncology Medical Director and Administrative Director for the Cancer Institute Service line for overall strategy, implementation, and growth of the Institutes Model for Oncology. Successful candidate will have the support of a LCSW, Dietitian, RN's, Nurse Navigator and colleagues. Physicians have the opportunity to perform their own image guided biopsies and have onsite ultrasound capabilities. Mentorship and teaching opportunities available to new grads. Responsibilities include seeing new patients in clinic, post ops and follow-ups. There is protected time in the OR and for administrative time. Candidates with Oncoplastic surgery experience is a plus. Current providers are seeing an average of 18-20 patients a day and only cover call for their patients.
