Pipe Electrician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both industrial and commercial electrical systems, demonstrating proficiency in working with high and low voltage systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety protocols, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems. • Utilize hand tools and testing equipment such as ammeters, voltmeters, and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues. • Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations. • Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment to prevent failures. • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. • Conduct high voltage and low voltage installations as required. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety standards. • Has knowledge of 4-20mA controls and a basic understanding of PLC inputs and outputs PLC installation and repair is a big plus Experience • Proven experience as an Electrician in both industrial and manufacturing setting is preferred. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications. • Familiarity with blueprint reading and the National Electrical Code (NEC). • Proficient in using hand tools and testing equipment such as ammeters and voltmeters. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
