We are looking for an enthusiastic Specialized Purchasing EMEA Placement Student to join our team specializing in Purchasing for our Corporate/CBS segment in UK, Peterborough or Darlington. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence 7 th July 2025.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Providing dedicated support to one or more sourcing teams within the office.
• Working with a group of suppliers to assist on Purchase Order management, cost reduction, capacity planning, quality performance and risk mitigation.
• Specific project work in support of functional objectives.
• Involvement in Functional Excellence - opportunity to work with other Business Units in the region to help share common processes, tools and resources to better achieve business goals.
• Data analysis to support Purchasing KPIs and specific project requirements.
• Engagement with other functions, including Supplier Quality, Material Planning, Finance and Engineering.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Working towards a degree - preferably Engineering or Business related (and not graduating this academic year).
• IT Skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Focus on details.
