Your responsibilities:
- To drive planning initiatives to improve customer on time delivery, and lead-time, to be accountable for inventory incl. sales in excess of invoicing and supply plan adherence responsible for reporting resource utilization.
- Provides visibility of supply capacity and local supply objectives into the Hub/PG S&OP process
- Establishes and maintains an inventory management process including, finished goods and sales in excess of invoicing in line with HUB and Unit instructions, driving inventory optimization projects within the site. Run a short-term planning process, connecting planning with execution. Coordinate an appropriate response to unplanned events. Support the profitable execution of customer orders, in coordination with project management, engineering, manufacturing and procurement.

- Leads/contributes to cross-functional initiatives for optimizing customer on-time delivery, lead-time, inventory, resource utilization, and forecast accuracy.
- Collaborate with other departments and/or units in the end-to-end supply chain. Provides local leadership for the development of best practices in planning systems and integrated ERPs.
- Leads local planning function and ensures (with HR Manager support) that local planning teams are properly organized, staffed, and skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both Hitachi Energy and the employee.
- Participate in new product/process introduction with in a range of planning function
- Drive continuous improvement and process development for enhanced performance.

Your background:
- You hold a degree in Industrial Economics, Purchasing, or a related field, and have at least 6 years of work experience. Management experience is a plus.
- you have at least 8 years' experience in the area of logistics/purchasing/order processing/planning and fulfilment in the production plant.
- Proven records of high standards of managerial experience is a must.
- You have strong expertise in SAP; SAP4HANA is a plus
- Very good command of the English language allowing for easy communication in an international environment.
- You are result-oriented, completer-finisher' taking accountability for ideas from inception to delivery, in an environment that requires flexibility and quick reactions to confirm success.
- You display strong leadership skills and can-do attitude - be confident and willing to deal with problems or new tasks, rather than complaining or giving up. You approach work systematically and propose solutions based on thorough analysis.
- You are fluent knowledge of MS Office;
- Ability to work under time pressure and have Good self-organization skills.
