Job Overview
Position Schedule: Full-Time
The Planning Wealth Consultant is part of our Client Consultation Group. In this role you will use a solid understanding of financial planning concepts and strategies along with a deep commitment to human centered wealth management to provide support to branch teams and their clients.

You will take a holistic approach, using all the planning tools available, to assist advisors in developing goals-based recommendations for clients with more complex needs. You will assist in answering goals-based questions and help simplify complex concepts and strategies to assist branch teams; or recognize when to direct those questions to other members of the team for more complex consultation.

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate.
Hiring Minimum: $75100
Hiring Maximum: $123900

Skills/Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Finance or Accounting
- CFP designation (or equivalent)
- Investment and Insurance industry knowledge are also strong assets
Desired:
- Life insurance license would be a plus
- Other designations would be a plus (RRC, CEA, CEPA, TEP, CIM etc.)
- Other estate and/or tax courses would be desirable
- Strong understanding of the comprehensive financial planning process including retirement planning, cash flow planning, investment planning, tax planning, estate planning and protection planning
- Strong presentation and oral and written communication skills especially including the ability to present financial concepts or strategies in a manner that is easily understood
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills and the ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, virtual meeting and financial planning software tools.
- The ability to work well and collaborate within a team environment.
- Previous experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Previous experience with Conquest is a plus.
Years of Relevant Experience:
- 3+ years Financial Services Industry or Edward Jones experience required
