Job objective: This is an exciting role in a growing company. The ideal candidate for the position is someone who has a strong background and experience as the primary company interface for material planning the required materials through the factory and product lifecycle. The perfect candidate for this position has the demonstrated experience to think and plan strategically and long term, but also is willing to dig into the details of the day-to-day material planning of our products, and has a strong knowledge of data systems and tools. This position reports to the Sr Mgr, Supply Chain, but will have cross-functional coordination with business development, in manufacturing, and production.


Duties
  • Own materials requirements and planning, according to build & program schedules and lead times, with coordination from purchasing team, acting as the single source of truth of manufacturing readiness to internal partners
  • Build line of balance part tracking and/or clear to build detailed reports.  Manages visibility for and delivers regular updates to key stakeholders
  • Drive and plan long-lead material in coordination with business development, engineering, product, and supply chain teams
  • Manage MRP demand below master schedule inputs (BOM's are loaded, trees are correct, etc.), loading schedules into ERP, releasing signals to business partners and ensuring alignment with manufacturing plans
  • Monitors shipment plans from Epirus buyers & suppliers to ensure sufficient inventory
  • Analyzes current inventory levels, accuracy, and trends to determine when additional inventory should be ordered
  • Control inventory levels and ensure availability of material during emergencies
  • Assures write-offs on damaged or obsolete inventory to reflect the accurate value of inventory
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, Operations or other applicable field
  • Minimum 8 years experience in material planning and scheduling with increasing roles of responsibility and oversight
  • Strong understanding of MRP/ERP Systems and able to be a power user
  • Strong set of skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with complex systems and multiple layered bills of materials
  • Experience in critical thinking and strategy setting/planning for long-lead material

  • Understanding and ability to pull data from multiple data sources (SQL, VBA, Python) to drive data transparency
  • Ability to influence across all levels of the organization without direct authority
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Collaborative; capable of working across all levels of the organization
  • Organized; comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

As required by the Equal Pay Transparency Act, Epirus provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. 
For the state of California only, the range of starting pay for this role is:
$91,000$150,999 USD
