Plant Operations Manager

Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes: Experience included planning, scheduling, and coordinating the activities of a variety of employees (i.e. professional, technical, administrative and wage grade employees) engaged in operations and maintenance activities such as: management of vessels; mobile and fixed mechanical equipment; and repair facilities. I possess a knowledge of dredging, and other marine construction activities and equipment. I possess a knowledge of navigation and related environmental and construction programs.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12 or above).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
