Planview Administrator
Job Description
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Planview System Business Architect resource will be responsible for maintenance and support of the production and sandbox environments. The applicant will be responsible in aiding the Planview System Team Lead in the ongoing maintenance of the tool including improvements, upgrades, and bug fixes when needed. Additionally, they will need to act as a back-up on additional responsibilities when needed. The applicant should have basic knowledge of AgilePlace and a willingness to expand knowledge to include ProjectPlace as we will grow our usage in the Planview applications to support the Industrial Automation business.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Aid in the triage and troubleshooting of Planview tickets through the Jira system.
- Perform audits of System Integrations by reviewing:
- The "Active Directory" to ensure resources and users are in the appropriate groups.
- Resource Attributes
- Help to develop and implement technical solutions in Planview by understanding user requirements.
- Creation and maintenance of supporting documentation using Confluence.
- Configure user roles including setup, grants, and features in Plainview.
Additional Information
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree within a technical related field is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in developing and maintaining Planview Portfolios.
- Previous experience with AgilePlace and ProjectPlace is helpful, but not a requirement.
- Good communications skills to be able to effectively communicate complex topics to all levels.
- Experience in design, creation, testing and documenting new and amended Planview applications is preferred.
- Implementation and best practices for hybrid usage of the Planview tool.
- Knowledge of system migration best practices; and troubleshooting Planview.
- Should be able to express and put ideas for best implementations.
