Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and proficient Drywall Finisher / Plasterer to execute high-quality drywall finishing and plastering work on various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of different plastering techniques and drywall finishing levels, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to producing superior results. Responsibilities: • Prepare surfaces for plastering and drywall installation, including cleaning, patching, and applying primers. • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets with precision. • Apply multiple coats of joint compound, sanding and feathering to achieve a seamless finish (Levels 3-5). • Perform various plastering techniques, including skim coating, veneer plaster, and traditional three-coat plaster systems. • Repair and restore existing plaster and drywall, addressing cracks, holes, and water damage. • Match existing textures and finishes to ensure consistency. • Operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively. • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. • Collaborate effectively with team members, project managers, and other trades. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications: • Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) as a Drywall Finisher and/or Plasterer. • Demonstrable expertise in various drywall finishing levels (3, 4, and 5) and plastering techniques. • Strong knowledge of materials, tools, and best practices in the trade. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications is a plus. • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot on-site issues. • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various positions. • Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. • Valid OSHA 30 & SST 10 • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
